Grants Pass RV and Auto Repair

About 20 years ago I took my Holiday Rambler to Henderson's because I felt it was a little wishy washy driving it on the highway especially on two lane roads that were somewhat curvy. When they completed the work recommended my coach drove exactly as they explained that it would. I was Sooooooooo Satisfied I have recommended them to anyone in conversations about RV driving problems.Just recently I purchased a 2004 33' Southwind. The first thing I did was to take it to Henderson's to have it checked out. It is a workhorse chassis and drove very well but I still wanted them to give me any recommendations that they felt would be beneficial. Additionally I had them change the oil, check the brake fluid for any abnormalities and replace a leaky exhaust manifold gasket. All work was done professionally with courtesy and respect for me as a customer. Friendly folks that know motorhomes completely from the inside out. Their ingenuity in their business is incredible in my opinion. They tackle any situation, figure out solutions " That Work" and get the job done. Well worth a drive of any distance to have Henderson's take care of any situations you may have with your coach!!

Had an oil change which was satisfactory, even though one of the fuel filters delayed us for several hours. Not Henderson's fault. Parts suppliers had none, then sent the wrong one. Staff are friendly and competent.

The experience was great. I had ordered the tires previously and the scheduled date I arrived. Did not get a Performance Assessment initially, But was given one when all the work was complete. Plan to stop next time I am in the area. I was told they do great work and they do.

Went to Hendersons to have my 1992 foretravel torsilatic suspension replaced. I brought my own parts, which were very hard to find, since they no longer make them. After taking things apart and getting to the suspension they found out that the parts I brought were the wrong ones. Robert then spent a lot of time trying to find the correct parts. At this time we think he found them and will be able to complete the repair shortly. While there I had them take the RV on their test ride. During the ride we reviewed some steering issues I was concerned about. At the end of the ride they went through several tests to determine what was causing the steering problems. They eliminated many possibilities and came up with a reasonably priced solution leaving me feeling good about the whole experience. The guys that worked on the RV were great to work with. They explained things and were very helpful. All in all it was a very good experience.

Couldn't ask for a better review than this........I took several of your cards to pass out to people I know and to those I have yet to meet.

Although your business is courteous and friendly and widely recommended by the RV world for your outstanding service, I was disappointed that upon being reminded the day before of my appointment for my oil change that it was two hours before my coach was taken to the shop to be worked on even though Joshua knew I was going to wait. After giving complete details about my coach when I made my appointment (two weeks earlier) the service dept did not have my oil filter causing another two hour delay. All told over 5 hours of wondering what was happening. Had I known to expect this I would have made arrangements.

The service and personal were outstanding, friendly and competent. They did everything they could to get us back on the road in a short time. . Thanks so much for their dedication, I really appreciated all they did for me.

Having heard many positive comments from other coach owners, I decided to make the trip to Grants Pass with my 2002 Country Coach Affinity to determine if some of the steering freeplay could be eliminated. I had already installed Road King shocks and were very pleased with the ride quality but the free play in the steering wheel required constant correction on all but perfectly flat smooth roads. Henderson's road performance assessment and inspections confirmed what I had been experiencing, and they found significant wear in the drag link ends, as well as in the steering gear itself. The drag link ends were replaced, and a Safe-T-Plus steering centering unit were installed, then a front end alignment was completed. I did not have the time to allow them to remove, rebuild and re-install the steering gear, so that will wait until a future trip. The work that was done has made a significant improvement in the way my coach handles, and I'm confident that getting rid of the play in the steering gear will make another big improvement. Henderson's treated us as if we were a part of the family, and were very knowledgeable regarding motorcoach handling issues. Since I am a hands on type, I appreciated having the ability to interact with the service techs while they worked on my coach. I highly recommend that anyone who would like to improve the way an RV drives and handles pays them a visit!
