Desiring to improve the handling of a Ford F53 even more, Robert Henderson decided to create a prototype 1 3/4″ rear sway bar. The results were outstanding and part #1139-144 is now exclusively available through SuperSteer

John Henderson at SuperSteer and Henderson’s Line Up shares about KONI shocks. The Frequency Selective Dampener (FSD) has an extra valve that controls oil flow parallel to the piston assembly, which John talks about and shows you. Also discussed are KONI’s adjustable shocks.

Dear Mr. Henderson: This letter is to inform you about how pleased I am with the work you did on stabilizing my Georgetown SE. The initial installation of the sway bars, track bar, over-sized shocks and the steering corrections allowed me to feel the road and know that I had control over the motorhome. The recent installation of the larger rear sway bar has made an additional, immense improvement in the handling of the vehicle, particularly in high winds. We crossed northern Minnesota and drove south through Wisconsin during winds so strong that I overheard a trucker on the CB say, “This wind’s so strong that my coffee’s got whitecaps.” He was right. We observed the other recreational vehicles and large trucks leaning and swaying at much wider degrees that we did.
